Sango finished checking the house, making sure everything would work. They had a fantastic view of the pool, as well as the sky. The bathroom was big enough for the both of them, and there were two bedrooms. Sango smiled as she signed the contract and made the house hers.
“Thank you so much,” She said airily. The man left the house counting the money.
Now if she could only make it look like home… She knew Miroku was getting out and she wished she’d found the house sooner, but she was running out of time. The house was a bit empty except for a large bed left behind in one of the rooms. She took out her phone and dailed his number.
Miroku had just finished gathering up his things when he heard the familiar tone of his phone. He stopped picking it up he opened the electronic device, placing it towards his ear. “Hi baby,” he greeted softly. Having known it was here from the call display.
"How are you love?"
Luckily for them Miroku was making an excellent recovery. She spent a little less time in the hospital because she was worried about getting an apartment. After a full day of searching, Sango decided to change her tactics.
She dressed her best, before going to a small area where she heard there were many beautiful condos for sale. She had enough money on her own to buy one, having been performing for larger audiences lately. Besides, being a dance instructor wasn’t cheap. Sango smiled at the person at the front door and he agreed to show her around.
The first thing that caught her eye was the beautiful pool at the front. It was large and perfect for them. She entered the building and went in the elevator with the agent.
“Is there a reason why you’re buying a house all on your own miss?’ he asked. He was clad in a suit and looked very interested in her.
“Actually, the house is not for myself. I’m planning on moving in with my boyfriend.” She said cautiously.
He lost all interest in her after that.
He led her to a large door and gave her the key. She entered and beamed at what she saw.
Miroku got off his feet changing into his clothes. He was getting released today, and couldn’t help but be excited as well as a little… put off by it. Being released meant he got to get out of the hospital, but that also meant he had to face a few things…
His house was one of them…
The place looked completely destroyed last time he saw it… He wanted to at least try to salvage anything if it wasn’t torn to shreds. And… he hoped that something from his past still remained.
A very specific something…
Inuyasha raised and eyebrow and tilted his head. “I…I guess so.”
Miroku looked up towards his friend, a soft grin on his face. “Well Inuyasha my dearest friend, your wedding present and well… A thank you for saving my life present is that I am prepared to fully fund your honeymoon.” He stopped talking looking curiously up to see Inuyasha’s expression.
"Anywhere you want to go. Anything you want to do. For you and Sesshomaru. It’s on me."
He’s running to the store real quick he’ll come back

ffffuuuuuuuuuuu okay :/
Im back and am answering the post.
“I don’t need much..I’m alright.” Inuyasha chuckled, blushing and scratching the back of his head. “I don’t want to take advantage of your wealth, if you give something to me, I can’t even say I’ll accept it. Helping you was enough for me. You’re safe, your girlfriend still has you, and I managed to keep the damage to you down to a minimum.”
"Well… I still want to make it up to you Inuyasha… I didn’t mean to put you through all that, your my friend and I hate that you sustained those injuries because of me." Miroku offered him a warm smile. "So I thought about this for a while and you deserve it more then anyone else I know… Would you like to know what your wedding present is Inuyasha?"
But that isn’t all. Someone fucking died…But…You don’t need that on your conscience you idiot….Inuyasha whipped his head back and smiled. “It’s no problem. I had to make sure you were safe or I wouldn’t have been able to live with myself.”
Miroku smiled warmly at Inuyasha. Despite everything the half demon went through he really did have a big heart. “I mean it… Thank you Inuyasha… Without you I wouldn’t be alive…”
"I can count on you and that means a lot to me… If theres anything you need anything at all please don’t hesitate to ask…"
Every single word hurt as she visualized what was going on. Sango’s breath escaped her for a second. She could only imagine how horrible it must have been. She sent a worried look towards Miroku. It sent chills through her just imagining everything.
Miroku blinked watching Inuyasha tell his story, his mouth dropping opened slightly. That happened…? Of course it did, there was more then enough proof to prove that it did. Miroku’s eyes dropped down to his lap not really sure what to say.
He paused turning back to his friend.
"Well um… I don’t really know what to say but… Thank you."
Inuyasha smiled back at Sango and scratched a little behind his ear, sending another wave of pain through his back. “I’ve been better. I broke my back so like..it’s a miracle I can even limp.” He said and looked around for another chair or something to sit on. Seeing nothing, he used Sesshomaru to help himself sit at the end of the hospital bed. “So..Miroku, how are you feeling now that you’re awake? I was…Well I was really worried about you and your little…um…episode that night…”
Miroku watched Sango walk around to the side of his bed smiling softly before turning to Inuyasha. He raised his eyebrows before smiling a little sheepishly. “Well… I’m feeling better…” Which was true, both physically and emotionally he did feel better. There were still a lot of things he had to do that weren’t going to be easy but… That’s just what happens…
"I can’t really remember what happened… Taking the drugs and so fourth… So would you mind filling me in…?"
The demon returned the smile. “Yeah. How are you feeling?” he asked, while looking at all the tubes and machines connected to the boy.
"Um… Better thank you," his voice got somewhat quiet as he turned towards Inuyasha gesturing them both to pull up a chair if they wanted. He was about to comment further, to ask how his friend was when the door to his room opened, and his girlfriend walked in quietly.
